Arya Roshanian (he/him) is a fiction and non-fiction writer based in Brooklyn. His reporting, essays, and criticism appear in BOMB, 4Columns, Guernica, Vox, PAPER, Gawker, Columbia Journal, and elsewhere. He holds a BA in Music from University of Southern California and an MFA in Fiction from Columbia University, where he was a finalist for the Henfield Prize. Arya begins a PhD in Slavic Languages and Literatures at Columbia this fall.
